SNM's Molecular Imaging Center of Excellence is an organizational component within the SNM that is dedicated to all aspects of molecular imaging in the detection and management of disease. The primary focal areas of the Center are educational programs, professional and intersociety networking, and serving as a resource for development and implementation of SNM policy in this specialized area. The center is currently facilitating initiatives to bring molecular imaging discoveries from the lab to the patient and to advance "personalized" medicine. SNM's multimillion-dollar "Bench to Bedside" campaign is funding these efforts.

Membership in the Molecular Imaging Center of Excellence is free to SNM members and nonmembers. Nonmembers may sign up for a three-month free trial membership in SNM to automatically join the MICoE.
